Start your tour, at your own leisure, in the famous old-harbour of Volendam. Here, you can see the traditional houses and soak up the fishing village atmosphere. Visit the famous maze ‘Doolhof’ in Volendam with narrow streets and quaint houses. And while you’re here, why not stop at the ‘viskraam’ (fish stall) and try some ‘haring’ (raw herring served with chopped onions and pickles) or ‘kibbeling’ (fried fish nuggets)? After tasting these typical Dutch delicacies, continue your E-scooter tour to Katwoude. This is a small village and well-known for its cheese farms. Visit one of the local cheese farms and see the whole process of cheese making; from cow to cheese. You can also enjoy the opportunity of tasting a variety of different types of cheese. Other sights in Katwoude include a classic Dutch windmill.

This tour includes a one-way ticket for the Marken Express boat including your scooter. This crossing is an ideal way to visit the historical villages Volendam and Marken. You can board the boat in either Marken or Volendam.  During this relaxing 30-minute boat trip, take in the impressive views of the Gouwzee and the Markermeer.
